RIGHT VIEW PRO

Instructional Hitting Software

“…to speed up the learning curve by developing a system to allow coaches and players to see, understand, and communicate more effectively.”

The Right View Pro is a system created by former baseball player and coach, Don Slaught. The system was developed to help coaches track the swings of their players, correct errors in form and help them develop a swing at their full potential.  Slaught realized that the skills necessary for developing a great swing didn’t necessarily carry over as skills necessary for helping others develop their own swing.  RVP was created to help coaches improve their coaching skills and bring out the very best in their players.

  • Side by Side Comparisons with the World’s Best Hitters

Currently, RVP offers 10 models designed to help the communication between coaches and their players.  The system was developed for the PC and allows players to compare and contrast their swings with professional players.  Side by side comparisons are automatically created to illustrate the differences between swings.

  • Visualization is the Key to Learning

RVP uses visualization as its learning tool.  Instead of a coach telling a player what is wrong with their swing, players are able to sit down with coaches and review their swings.  The technology allows for quicker and more efficient strides in developing a better swing.

  • Bringing it to the world of Softball

Coach Enquist was brought on as a consultant to take the success Right View Pro as a training tool for baseball players and coaches and incorporate it into the world of softball.  Coach Enquist has been instrumental in bringing RVP to softball players and coaches at the collegiate, professional and Olympic levels.  An invaluable tool, Coach Enquist has used RVP for years to help develop some of the greatest hitters the softball community has ever seen.

SB401

“Today, not only making contact, but hitting the ‘sweet spot’ is crucial to have any type of success.”

– Coach Enquist

Designed for the Player

The SB 401 Training Bat was developed by 11-Time National Champion Coach Sue Enquist.  The design, materials and structure of the bat were considered when creating the SB 401.  Every facet of the bat was designed to enhance any player’s hitting by holding the player accountable.  When training with the SB 401, your players will know when they have made a mistake.

Maple Construction and Short Barrel

Constructed of wood, instead of aluminum, with an intentionally short barrel (6 inches), the SB 401 will teach your players to keep their hands inside the ball and hit the ball with the “sweet spot”.  With a 40-60% smaller target area, the SB 401 will force players to hit the ball on the “sweet spot” every time.  When a player misses, they will know immediately.

Part of a Winning Tradition

The SB 401 Training Bat has been a part of 11-Time National Champion, UCLA’s training regimen for years.  During the 2002 season, UCLA held the nation’s highest batting average.  The SB 401 Training Bat was an instrumental part of UCLA’s hitting success again during their 2003 and 2004 seasons, UCLA’s most recent back-to-back National Championship campaigns.

Developed By Coach Enquist

Today’s game of softball is more competitive than ever.  That’s why Coach Enquist designed the SB 401 Training Bat.  Observing the increase in both players and talent in college softball, Coach Enquist realized her players needed to increase their training.  However, the technology for improving swings was limited.  Understanding the effectiveness of training fielders with a smaller glove, Coach Enquist realized the same principle could be applied to hitters.

Advantages of the SB 401

  • The weight at the end of the bat will enhance strength in swing training and great CONTROL of the bat.
  • The wood bat will hold the hitter accountable if she is EARLY or LATE because the ball won't rebound off the wood bat like aluminum unless hit properly on the "sweet spot".
  • The long handle/transition will provide instant negative feedback when the hitter "casts out" the swing. The short barrel will help the player understand the important staying COMPACT and "hitting inside the ball."
